Cleveland Cavaliers
Thomas has gone a little bit under the radar this off season with some of the additions to his roster, Porter Jr, Larry Nance and Vooch are all improvements on last season, added to their young core of Giddey, Williams and Sarr, the Roster has a nice balance about it.
Off Season Moves – B+ – Have liked the improvements in the roster and they haven’t given that much up
25 Season Prediction – Looking to sneak into the playoffs, for anything better, they would need Sarr to have a great season for the Wizards and their player update on them.
Chicago Bulls
The Bulls have had quite the off season – getting Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey in the Draft is going to help them for this season and beyond. They have a very young and exciting roster. The addition of Bobby Portis will really help with his great per 36 mins.
Off Season Moves – A – Mostly for their draft picks
25 Season Prediction – Could cause an upset and make the 2nd round of the play offs.
Detroit Pistons
For Chris, its all about getting enough good pieces around Wembanyama to push the Pistons into contention. I think just having Wemby makes them a play off team, the supporting cast isn’t quite strong enough in my view to be making loud noises in the play offs.
Off Season Moves – C – The trades made, all seem to be good value, but would have liked to have seen abit more ambition to improve the starting 5.
25 Season Prediction – In the playoffs but heading for an early exit.
Indiana Pacers
Most teams in the league would be very happy to have Chet and Evan as their starting bigs. However I have concerns at the guard positions is Beal going to be injury free? His numbers are declining and next to Tre Man, is it a good enough backcourt to push the Pacers in the play off’s.
Off Season moves – F – What moves? Moved back a couple of positions back in the draft, would have liked to have seen them make a move to add a promising future guard to the roster or a veteran who improves them now – appear to be abit in no mans land.
25 Season Prediction – Can see them making the play in but not going much further.
Milwaukee Bucks
Michael loves a trade! Every season he seems to have a different roster, I love it. However some of his trades I do love and others no so much. Getting Lopez for peanuts was a good move, I liked the gamble on Paul George as well. However the decision to move Booker has surprised me and I think they will miss his scoring punch and play making this season.
Off Season Moves Grade – C As mentioned I liked some of the trades, but moving Booker might come back to haunt them.
25 Season Prediction – Found this tricky to predict but going for them to miss out on the Playoffs but they could end up top 3! I think the lack of quality defenders might hold them back.
